An opportunity has arisen for a proactive retail Sales Assistant to join our team at Newlands Fasteners and Engineering Supplies.
Working within a small and friendly retail team where everyone looks out for each other, teamwork, and the ability to build relationships is key to this Sales Assistant role. We are looking for a Retail Assistant who will proactively approach every customer and deliver a true retail customer experience.
As a Sales Assistant, you would need to:
- Ensure that customer service is not an afterthought but an intrinsic part of the sale process.
- Support the Management team and the sales process ensuring effective responsibility and ownership of your tasks.
- Ensure accurate and appropriate advice to ensure that our customers buy the best and most relevant products to meet their needs.
- Be Self-motivated, show initiative, and confidence and be a strong team- player.
- Some computer skills.
No experience is required, just a willingness to learn, but an understanding of tools and fasteners is welcome.
